Pino's Deli & Subs: Authentic Italian Flavors in Rochester

Thought I would make a fresh review here ,I have not been to Pinos in awhile due to moving away from Greece almost 3 years back and really what I miss most is Pinos deli. I have been going there for over 20 years! I was in the area yesterday and decided to get acouple steak subs to bring home. I live near rubinos now and their subs have fallen off alot in a year or so because there is not any meat on them .When I order almost any sub there I get them with 2 bucks worth of more meat every time to make it worth having.I can truly say you do not need to do this at Pinos because your sub will have plenty of everything you want ! Prices are what they are but I can get a large sub at pinos and have leftovers for a day or two you dont get this really anyplace else with home made bread and quality ingredients. Some people have said pinos has cut back on portions but I dont see that at all wish I would have taken a Pic of the subs but we were just happy to have and enjoy !! SaL and family keep up the good work there your place is still #1

Great sandwiches and nice people. We told the lady it was our first time there and when we were eating she came over with 4 free homemade meatballs. Nice added touch!

Take a look at their steak sub compared to some local pizza shops, they're not even in same league. Customer service is ridiculously above average and everything we've ever had from there is always excellent. If you've never been you should go. My only complaint is they're not open on Sundays but I suppose everyone needs a day of rest.

I don’t think there’s anything you can get from here that isn’t going to set your taste buds on fire for more. However the garbage plate from pinos sets the bar for gourmet garbage plates. Not sure what makes a garbage plate for you. But with me it start with the Mac! Thier Mac is tasty and creamy! An original nick Tahoe’s plate is the standard. But pinos just takes that and elevates it. From the Mac to their season batterds fries to their fresh rolled hamburgers. Even Thier buns is home made baked to perfection. With thier own twist on hot sauce just ties in and really makes this garbage plate arguably the best in Rochester hands down. It’s not runny and doesn’t leave the bottom of your plate soaked in watery meat sauce.

I was in town for work and found this little deli. I walk in and couldn’t decide what I wanted. The owners wife walked up and talked me into a chicken cutlet sub with the homemade hot sauce that they have. Also got some homemade Mac and cheese and she was nice enough to give me two homemade meatballs with homemade sauce to try. I’m one of the pickiest eaters you will ever meet and I’m telling you that this food was the best sub and meatballs I’ve ever had. The sauce is soooooo good and knowing everything I ate was homemade made it even better from the roll to the chicken cutlets to the sauces. I even went back the next day and bought more food to take home for dinner and walked in and she remembered me by name. Definitely a go to if you are looking for good food and very nice people that care about the customers. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town For work.

Food is always great. Love their large steak sub! Wife usually gets stuffed shells and a meatball. So many other options to choose from, Italian foods, subs (both hot and cold), deli foods and pastries (recommend their eclairs/cream puffs). Very limited seating. Most just order and leave.

Pino's has served the American Legion Post 330 in Spencerport with exceptional service. But on a personal note, there subs are awesome! Loaded generously with meat & and any other toppings you want on it, cold or hot. And the prices are very reasonable.

For people living in Rochester area- Italian deli is a very personal choice - we visited Pino for the first time -around 11:30 am so there was a short line but the service level is excellent - all my items were wrapped / packed individually - great quality and selections !
